Madiki is a village on the island of Aruba, located along the west coast of the island. The people there are fluent in English and Spanish. Other languages they speak are French and Portuguese. They enjoy playing soccer and are fond of the arts. Most families have 2-5 children on average. Their president in 1824, Jorge Malino, led the country to freedom. Some of their most common crops are wheat, coffee, nuts, and sugar. They trade with the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Mexico. The name Madiki comes from the Latin word Madilicka whcick means "small majestic land."
